Linear Silicone

Linear silicones are silicone polymers with straight chain structures (as opposed to cyclic ring structures). The main linear silicone chemistry is polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS), known by INCI as Dimethicone. Linear silicones are not subject to the cyclic siloxane restrictions affecting D4/D5 under EU REACH.
