Antiperspirant and deodorant formulations rely on volatile silicones to deliver active ingredients (aluminium salts, fragrance, antimicrobials) to the underarm while providing a dry, non-cooling, fast-evaporating sensory experience. The carrier silicone must not leave a white residue, must be compatible with the active system, and — for EU and UK market products — must meet SVHC regulations. Nishka's short-chain linear silicones (NISH 1CST through NISH 3CST) provide the fastest evaporation profiles. NISH PT103 and NISH CM100 provide the same carrier function without the cyclic siloxane regulatory profile, critical for EU/UK-compliant antiperspirant development.
