Propyl Trisiloxane is the INCI name for a short-chain trisiloxane with a propyl group substitution. A speciality silicone developed as a non-cyclic alternative to Cyclopentasiloxane (D5). Volatility and solubility characteristics are comparable to D5, addressing EU/UK regulatory concerns about cyclic siloxanes. Delivers excellent wetting, super-spreading, SPF boost, perfume retention, and non-greasy lightweight feel.
