INCI Name

INCI (International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients) Name is the globally standardized naming system for cosmetic ingredients, maintained by the Personal Care Products Council (PCPC). Required on cosmetic product labels in the EU, UK, US, India, and most regulated markets. INCI names are the same regardless of which company manufactures the ingredient — Dimethicone from NISHKA has the same INCI name as Dimethicone from any other manufacturer.
